15 minutes to complete, and passwords were not required for this tool. When the survey closed, the qualitative data were downloaded into a PDF file; the quantitative data were downloaded into a Microsoft Excel file in the form of graphics. All data were themed and saved on a secure computer drive in a secure location. Themes were emailed to the participant group, and those themes assisted in the development of the open-ended questions for the next cycle of research, a world café.
Due to a low response rate, the world café was replaced by interviews. The planned world café questions (see Appendix I) were pilot tested by three members of JFSC‘s board of directors and my AR team. The world café questions (see Appendix I) used an AI approach and were believed to be appropriate for the interviews (see Appendix K). Three days prior to the world café, all frontline team members of JFSC were emailed a letter of invitation (see Appendix E), which included the proposed interview questions (see Appendix K). The 40-minute interviews were scheduled and were conducted in a JFSC office at a time convenient to each participant. I started each interview with an introduction, explained the purpose of the research, my role as a researcher, the role of the participant, and asked if they had any questions. Each interview participant signed a letter of consent (see Appendix L), which outlined confidentiality and the participant‘s right to withdraw from the process at any time. The interviews were conducted privately, were digitally recorded, and handwritten notes were taken. Once the interviews were completed, the data were transcribed into a Microsoft Word document and the transcripts were given to each participant to confirm and validate the transcription. After the participants validated their transcripts all data were themed and saved on a secure computer drive in a secure location. Themes were emailed to the participant group, and those themes assisted in the development of the open-ended questions for the next cycle of research, a focus group.
