• Please note that All items listed below were discussed and substantially resolved in our onsite Contractors meeting 23rd June.
• MECT failure to attend meeting may be a cause for your lack of information.
• Also MECT failure to recognise Constructive Management Site Instructions & RFA comments as "Client" Instruction may delay your actions onsite
• - Do not wait for written instruction from K.Vee/Boutique because he no longer works for BAM company and CM has been empowered to execute the Clients Instructions.
1. Fire Alarm System - System and location is confirmed as MUR comments 25May - We are awaiting MECT/EEC confirmation of Materials suitable for this installation (wall mounted Smoke Detector with sounder base). MECT to submit RFA MAT/SHOP & VO.
2. Add AC control - Micro switch control for AC Via RCU issued as Site instruction 055 dated 27.6.15
3. Control Lighting Circuits - As Noted in MECT RFA 141-142 sent back to you 24th June
4. TV Plug installation - As Noted in MECT RFA 141-142 sent back to you 24th June
5. Location of Plug at entrance door - Confirmed as comments MUR 25 May
6. Switch & Plug revisions - As Noted in MECT RFA 141-142 sent back to you 24th June
7. Lamp fitting L2 - Confirmed in information sent from Lighting designer last week.
Please Note ; We cannot approve or certify for payment on any works carried out by MECT unless it has been Inspected, Tested and Recorded as substantially or partially complete.
This requires MECT to provide Inspection and testing schedule for the review of current and ongoing works.
Testing is not the same as commissioning and should be carried out continuously in order to build quality into our project.
• Please urgently address the Inspection Schedule for EEC consultants review of your Electrical & Sanitary installations - Their final sign-off on methods and completion is essential for Project Success.

32.1.2 Testing and commissioning shall be completed by the contractor in the presence of the
Supervisor or his appointed representative and the reports submitted for approval. Upon
approval of the reports by the Engineer / Supervisor, the contractor shall demonstrate
requested readings to the Engineer / Client. The Contractor shall give timely notice and
furnish the Engineer / Supervisor the required certificates of testing for review. The cost of
all tests, including the supply of calibrated instruments and fuel shall be paid by the
Contractor."
