Overall, 85.2 % metbreast cancer screening guidelines and 87.2 % met cervicalcancer screening guidelines. Percentages varied significantlyfor Asian Americans vs. whites, with Asianshaving significantly (p < 0.05) lower screening rates thanwhites in both samples. Eleven percent of the breastcancer sample and 12.2 % of the cervical cancer samplereported low health literacy. In both samples, lowhealth literacy varied significantly (<0.0001) for AsianAmericans vs. whites, with Asians having higher rates oflow health literacy. Significant variation was seen for alldemographic variables for Asian Americans vs. whites inboth samples.
