The arithmetic mean of all of the above values for a particular
index indicates the experts’ “degree of opinion concentration”; the
higher the arithmetic mean, the greater the importance of the
index. The coefficient of variation for each index is similarly used to
indicate the experts’ “degree of opinion coordination”; the smaller
is the coefficient of variation of the index, the lesser is the dispute
regarding the index (Rong, 2008).
Based on the results of two rounds of index selection and the
analysis of these findings, 27 evaluation indexes for low-carbon
tourist attractions were selected, as indicated in Table 2.
