I am attaching another copy of the general information note that went out with invitations, and also the final draft agenda.
When you arrive on Wednesday morning, May 13, please come to the Visitors Entrance of the World Bank Main Complex building, which is the big shiny one that takes up the whole block. The street address is 1818 H Street, NW; the visitors entrance is on the 18th Street side just below the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 18th Street.
Please bring your passport. Once past the metal detectors, look for one of our MP staff who will have visitor ID badges ready for you, good for all three days. You will need to keep this dated badge with you at all times while in the building. After you have the badge, you will be directed to the entrance gates where you go through the rightmost lane and scan your paper badge on the metal box on your right, showing your passport photo to the guard as you pass through.
Once past the guard, proceed straight ahead, up a slight ramp, into the atrium. Turn left across the “bridge,” and head diagonally across the open space to the SW elevators. Take one of those elevators to the 4th floor, and you will see a sign directing you around the corner to the entrance to our conference room for the first day – MC 4-800.
We will staff the visitors entrance from 8:00-9:00 am on that first day. The workshop agenda will start at 9:00 am. If you arrive later than that, ask the uniformed guards at the visitors entrance to point out the door behind their desks, which opens to the counter at the ID office. Any badges not already picked up will be held there for you – please let them know you are there for a Montreal Protocol meeting.
Please sign in on the sheets provided. Breakfast will be provided outside the conference room.
Restrooms are located near the elevators. WiFi is available with a guest password which we will distribute at the meeting room. If you have any questions regarding logistics, please ask me or my colleague Anshirley Asare.
I look forward to meeting all of you next week.
