during a brainstorming session between designer pierpaolo lazzarini and musician-composer giampaolo scapigliati, the two took notice of their old fax machine placed atop their studio desk. in that moment, they realized something: ‘everyone still has some boxes containing letters, postcards, and pictures, stuff of our grandparents and parents, stuff that we love to keep for collection, for remember and don’t forget. well, now we have a lot of photos, shots of the foods we eat, pictures of the pets we love, and images of the things we are used to do and things we are not! but at the end of this incredible display’s scrolling, what do we have in our hands ? and what we will be left after us?’ the questioned. ’since someone invented the photography, what he would have thought of for the way to store our pictures nowadays?’ the duo has responded to these questions with a product called ‘printeroid‘.
