V. CONCLUSION
In this study a practical full bridge converter design is given in
details. The topology is chosen related to operational
quantities. Three main sub-designs are performed including
the main circuit, low pass filter and high frequency
transformer. All practical information is calculated specifically
for this study. Simulation results confirmed the expectations
and the results are all presented. Practical implementation of
the design is also completed and results for open loop
operation are given. A practical model which is ready for
closed loop operation aimed to be performed in future study is
obtained. Main contribution of the study is merging different
techniques in order to improve the performance of a DC to DC
converter operating at high power levels which is rarely used,
designed and produced.
