Our factory team has investigated the contaminant and found that it might be a part of vinyl rope used for tightening the bag of pineapple cores.
1. From the production record of in-process inspection and finished product cut-out (attached), no such the contaminant is found.
2. When we compare the contaminant with material used in the cannery we found that it is similar with the vinyl rope (attached).
3. This vinyl rope is only used for tightening the bag for collecting the pineapple core from the can loading machine and the resizer.
4. Sometimes we collect the pineapple core for selling. The vinyl rope is used for tightening the bag before moving it from the preparation line.
5. The vinyl rope was pre-cut from outside the control production area but its end might be torn out and contaminated.
6. To prevent such this problem in the future, we will not bring this vinyl rope into the control processing area.
7. If we sell the pineapple core in the future, we will bring the bag (filled with the pineapple core) out of the control processing area before tightening it with the vinyl rope
