In store kiosks introduce the Borders.com shopping experience to customers. CEO George Jones stated, “Today is another milestone for our company as we launch Borders. Com, a site that is much more than just another place to shop on the Web it is a source of information and entertainment that brings a real bookstore experience to life online. The firm expects that the new site will become profitable in 2009. However, many financial analysts are skeptical that Borders can regain the market share it lost to both online retailers and to discounters such as WalMart.“
