The Bonferroni test found significant differences on importance
of crisis management and tsunami evacuation systems among
tourists who stayed at guest houses and bungalows and those who
stayed at upscale hotels. Backpackers placed more importance on
these two safety measures than those who stayed at upscale hotels.
As for emergency kits, significant difference was found on all types
of accommodation. Whereas backpackers had the highest rating,
followed by those who stayed at mid-price hotels whose ratings
were relatively neutral but lean toward helpful, those who stayed at
upscale hotels did not perceive emergency kits as helpful.
