Superheroes, a fairytale princess and a tween girl fueled ticket sales for Walt Disney Studios, rocketing the company past the $4 billion mark at the global box office.
Walt Disney Studios said it reached the threshold in record time, surpassing its previous record set last year by nearly six weeks. So far in 2015, Disney Studios has earned $1.433 billion domestically and $2.575 billion internationally, the third straight year it has met the $4 billion milestone.
