Responsibilities: Sales Representative
Executes sales functions of sales department to ensure that targets are met
Seeks for market developments and opportunities such as sourcing in new potential agents
Examines current market environments, analyzes sales database and provides feedbacks or make recommendations to sales team
Performs sales calls, create reservations, and provides services to designated agents
Ensures that all designated agents are contacted or visited on a monthly basis
Submits weekly sales calls reports; feed back on market intelligence and addresses agents needs, concerns, and developments
Secures proper allocations to support agents’ regular shipments/ businesses
Contacts NPM or CSC for additional space required or special assistance for urgent/ important shipments
Monitors no-show, utilization, and materialization of agents' allotted space on a monthly basis
Contacts cargo agents to confirm turning up of shipments that scheduled to depart
Maintains existing productive businesses and develops new potential ones
Quotes AWBs, raise adhoc forms and recorded offered adhoc rates
Ensures that adhoc rates offered to agents are within pre-approved rate or seek approval as necessary
Space management, coordination and monitoring for flights departing from DMK airport. To liaise with NPM/CSC as a secondary hub for effective space management.
