In all cases human beings evaluate the sound subjectively on the basis of their experience. In mass production this procedure is not reliable, especially with safety parts and in loud environments, too rough, because the human ear cannot distinguish between fine sound differences and stressful for the worker who has only a limited concentration. To solve the above problems, Acoustic resonance testing (ART) is the way in which its continued development. It’s a relatively new non-destructive technique for a fast and method of non-destructive testing that does not have these drawbacks [1].

This aims to develop low cost automated inspection system to detect different types of objects, inclusion etc. using ART principles, improving both the accuracy and the efficiency of the existing ART systems[2].The principle of work is sound recording by tapping the object. Then take the results into MATLAB and existing systems use FFT for implementing Discrete Fourier Transform to convert time domain information to frequency domain information.
