The benefit of the recrystallization temperature is the fact, that it measures a polymer property and it is independent of the amount of iron in the sample. The increase in the recrystallization tem- perature (Fig. 5) indicates that the polymer forms regular crystal structures more easily, i.e. at higher temperatures when cooling, due to a smaller molecular weight of polymer chains and higher chain mobility.
