Dear Tax & Legal Professionals,
As we are beginning a new fiscal year, we must continually challenge ourselves to explore ways to grow our T&L practice to reach the lofty expectations we have set for ourselves in FY17 and beyond. While we will continue to place the appropriate focus on marketplace, talent and other client service enhancement initiatives, we must now also place an heightened focus on improving the operational effectiveness of our T&L practice.
To assist with this, Anthony and I have asked Mike to assume the role of Chief Operating Officer of the T&L practice, who will be responsible for driving initiatives around the following operational areas:
• Billings, A/R collections, WIP conversion, and Lockup management;
• Timely engagement code openings and timesheet submissions;
• Administrative matters related to DRMS and client/engagement acceptance;
• Headcount planning and monitoring of CSS costs;
• Approval of training requests;
• Assisting Anthony with planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Anthony will continue the day-to-day T&L country leadership activities, including client service delivery, driving business process improvement/work flow efficiency projects, business development activities, marketing & communications initiatives, HR & staffing matters, and other client facing programs.
While we have asked Mike to concentrate on the above operational focus areas, I want to stress it is the responsibility of every T&L partner, professional and administrative staff to make the necessary behavior changes that will lead to the improvement of these areas. Your KPIs for the upcoming fiscal year will include goals that must lead to measurable improvements in these operational areas.
Please support Mike and the rest of the Partners as we implement various initiatives around operational improvements. I look forward to us being able to celebrate an extremely successful FY17 where we achieve continued marketplace, client service, talent management and operational excellence.
Best Regards,
