Annual seablite (Suaeda maritima) is a plant belonging in Chenopodiaceae family. Leaves are succulent and liner and flattened at 1 - 6 cm of length. Young or newly leaves are green and they turn to purplish-red when reach maturity. Annual seablite is a domestic of various region of Thailand including Bangkhuntein District, Southern part of Bangkok. They were consumed as the food stuff and a few reported the finding of phenolic compounds in annual seablite functional as antioxidant capacity. This study aimed to investigate antioxidant capacity by using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2’-azinobis(3-ethlbenzothaiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) methods of the extract from fresh green-young (FGY) and red-mature (RM) leaves and green flower of annual seablite. Extraction procedure was the usage of two solvents; ethanol and petroleum ether. The result showed that the plant extract from FGY of annual seablite leaves with petroleum ether had the highest anitoxidant capacity of DPPH and ABTS at 401.30 and 174.96 mg/L Trolox equivalent/ g DW, respectively. Total phenolic compounds of annual seablite analyzed by Folin-Ciocalteu Phenol Test were averaged at 107.59 mg GAE/ 100 g DW.
