Afield experiment was conducted following randomized block
design in quadruplicate during November, 2012 to March, 2013 at
farmers’ field of Bhadohi district, Uttar Pradesh, India in plots of
5m2 m. Each plot was basely dressed with N:P:K (120:60:60)

. Bacterial treated seed@150 kg ha

was sown to each
plot in line. Plots were irrigated timely and all other agronomical
intercultural processes were followed. At maturity pot and field
crops were harvested and threshed after drying. Grain weight

was recorded for pot andfield experiments, respectively. Acquisition of N and P by grain and straw and
content of Cu, Zn, Mn and Fe in grain were determined by
following the procedure as described by Iswaran and Marwah
(1980). Data were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance
(ANOVA). Significant differences among means were compared
with using Fisher's protected LSD test atPr0.05. Statistical
analysis was done by using SPSS software version 16.0
