Amongst the developed operations with this culture,harvest is an operation of great relevance; product quality
depends mostly on the careful way and the right moment of manual harvest of plants. The right harvest moment
occurs when the seeds in the base of the stem start to open, yielding seeds in a greater number and size (Lago
et al., 2001; Queiroga et al., 2009).
