Another consequence of addiction is the withdrawal symptoms that an addict would experience when he stops the regular intake of the addictive substances. These symptoms include body aches, muscle cramps, tiredness, vomitting or delirium.
To avoid these unbearable symptoms, addicts may commit criminal acts to get the substances. When they become desperate, they may turn violent.
