The observation on handover simulation was recorded and
all data regarding the network performances are also recorded
and tabulated. Then the next phase is to fix the Time-To-
Trigger to 320ms while at this time the values of Hysteresisa3
were varies. The value of Hysteresisa3 starts at 0.5dB and
increases until 5dB. The topology setting was reset for the next
part of handover optimization testing. First, the value of TTT
is set to 320ms and the Hys value is set at 0.5dB. The results of
the simulation runs were recorded. The same approach was
taken as in part one which each time a new simulation was run,
a new project file is create to avoid redundancy on the setting
set and results obtained. The simulations were run several
times with different value of Hys until the value reach 5dB.
Finally, after all the simulation tests were completed, all the
results obtained were analysed to see whether the changes of
network performance when the handover parameters were
being optimized.
The initial result of the HO performance is used as the
guideline to determine the best optimize HO parameters. The
