Hi Joy,
No, you don’t have to recalculate everything. The data for pure SCM or EVM is still required.
However please understand that we need both data:
1. Data for pure SCM or EVM = required but not reported in the final Global file.
2. Data for RTC (diluted SCM or EVM in coffee/ tea) = also required and will be the figure reported in the final Global file. Data will be reported in per 100g RTC. The reason we report data in per 100g RTC is because our FC Nutrition standards are always based on per 100g RTC. If we do not have the dilution factor, we need to make some assumptions based on our best knowledge. During this project EXACT, it is our chance to flag to the Global team that we do not have the dilution factor on pack and we made some assumptions based on consumer insight of average practice.
For Thailand, let’s take an example of EVM Falcon and appreciate your reply to (a):
a) In the Aligned Excel file, it is now indicated that 45g is the serving size. Is this recommended on pack?
b) 45g for how much coffee? Amount of coffee can be average consumer practice like what Puttawan provided (I know there is no standard, and coffee volume depends on traditional vs modern coffee vs what consumers prefer, but we need to make assumptions!) I just sent the same question to Karan (Category Marketing, now Marketing director in Myanmar) to provide inputs on the common preparation method in Thailand. I will update you if I receive this information from him on Monday. So you don’t have to fill in the Aligned Excel file for now, we wait for info from Karan.
If anything still unclear, please reach out to me!
