If this is right, there is nothing problematic about
cloning to produce cells or tissues for transplantation
by controlling differentiation.
All we would be
doing is taking, say, a skin cell and turning on and
off some components of the total genetic complement
to cause the cell to divide as a bone marrow
cell. We are causing a differentiated cell (skin cell)
to turn directly into a multipotent stem cell (bone
marrow stem cell).
