Location information, including postal code, prefecture code, and area code, are stored in non-volatile RAM (NVRAM) in the Hybridcast TV set. This information is used to provide location-specific emergency information for each user. When a disaster occurs, NHK creates disaster information web pages containing detailed information, such as evacuation information and shelter locations announced by local governments. The proposed system automatically guides each user’s Hybridcast browser to relevant contents in the JSL CG animation that provide information corresponding to the disaster information web page contents.
