The test was conducted using a high-temperature triaxial loading test system (Fig. 1). The testing apparatus is used to apply triaxial compression on the salt rock sample under high tempera- ture using a computer to control the electro-hydraulic servo automatic loading system. The hydraulic station provides the power, the computer measurement and control system are used to control the electric-hydraulic servo valve, and the host runs the experiment under the control of the computer. The maximum axial force used was 400 kN, the highest confining pressure applied was 30 MPa, and the highest temperature was 100 1C.
