Customers will also be able to configure the laptops with Nvidia GeForce graphics on models with up to a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor. Are you more of an AMD fan? Lenovo has you covered with options for AMD Radeon R5 M230 discrete graphics and AMD APU processors all the way up to AMD A8 models with on-chip Radeon graphics.
"The laptops give users one of the most affordable 'convertible-like' PCs, with two unique modes in one machine," reads the PR. "Users can enjoy the benefits of a Windows 8.1 touch-centric experience in both modes via the 10-finger multitouch screen."
Both laptops will provide a "stylish and functional" one piece multitouch touchpad with an optional cool metal palm rest. Customers will also have three storage options to choose from: up to 1 TB of HDD or hybrid SSHD storage or up to 256 GB SSD storage. The company didn't mention the RAM, but the older FLEX series supports 4 GB and 8 GB of RAM.
Pricing for models of the FLEX 2 14-in and 15.6-in start at $429 and $799, respectively. The FLEX 2 laptops are available beginning in June, so expect more hardware details before then.
