I am interested in Human Resource position but I have heard a little about HR. After I had been interviewed on Wednesday I couldn’t answer questions what are different things between HRM and HRD. I spent time to search for them a day following interviewer’s advice including HRM, HRD and Labor law. I try to describe each topic as follows.
I though HRM or Human Resource Management who manages personnel in organization or enterprise. HRM performs about planning to develop working personnel and specifics position’s qualities or characteristic. In my opinion, HRM needs to perform taking care personals and employees since they start working until they resignation or retirement. I have known that recruitment, selection and placement inside organization are main duty of Human Resource Management. HRM does duty evaluating personal performance that employees develop themselves about working, abilities and efficiency that these would be increased or decreased. HRM is being a part of benefits and service management for personals or employees. Safety and health is an important thing that HRM needs to be responsibility. For me, I think Human Resource Management like as forward in football system. This position will involve with personal management. Labor law is thing that HRM needs to learn well. HRM have to observe many things of candidates, so interrogating candidates will make HRM evaluate candidates’ ability, character and attitude that are suitable with position or not for organization or enterprise.
