1) Spread out when in possession of the ball.
The 2 outside defenders should go as wide as possible.
2) The back 3 assumes a half moon shape.
3) Supporting angles should be good.
4) Communication between the defenders.
5) Placement of the passes in front of each other.
6) Look up to see if the ball can be dribbled forward.
7) Receive with an open body stance.
