The School of Film sees convergence as the main factor differentiating them from other schools. In order to achieve this the school focuses on educating students through each individual process . These include specific aspects of film such as, directing, cinematography, sound and editing. The undergraduate courses focus on developing a solid, general understanding of the world of culture and the arts, creating students who are flexible in a changing media environment through a combination of fusion and major intensive courses. To complement this, the graduate courses aim to cultivate specialized talents in specific disciplines through major intensive courses and increased specialization. Each process track is set along features of the individual genre, incorporating business and academic cooperation, international joint production, and field practice into the curriculum to connect to the film industry as a whole. In order to accomplish this goal, the curriculum is comprised of major intensive courses along the genre-process-track system while incorporating the fusion process through integrated production workshops.
