Finance
The project was pump-primed with £50,000 by
Cheshire and Merseyside's directors of public
health in 2005 to 2006. Principal funding was
subsequently secured through the Department
of Health (DH) Communities for Health Fund to
the value of £263,000. This funding covered
the total cost of the intervention, including two
academic evaluations and the project
manager‟s salary in the first full year (this was
subsequently funded separately).
