In addition, information was gathered on the number of authors, figures, tables, references to CJPR, total number of references, acknowledgements, and appendices per article. These forms of content were moderately consistent throughout different editorships, with the most obvious change in average number of references per article (M = 9.6) under McCauley, the first editor, to a much higher average number of references per article (M = 44.1) under Myers, the current editor (see Table 3).
