The Marketing Officer promotes our company's projects, products or services. This can involve marketing existing projects, products, developing new projects, products to cater for client and consumer demand, or developing markets for new projects, products or services. It is a varied role that includes planning, advertising, public relations, event organization, product/service development, sponsorship and research.
The candidate will have the opportunity to provide unique business solutions or coordinate industrial supplies and coordinate projects by communicating the value of our projects, products or services to customers for the purpose of selling that projects, products or services.
The candidate will work closely with the company’s principals and experienced executives and the highly-talented individuals of our team, either in projects promotion, operations, finance & administration, accounting, business development, sales & marketing, or other related businesses. JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Develops a company's advertising strategy, liaises with advertising agencies to create the company product or image, prepares budgets and develops promotional and sales support materials.
• Coordinates and develops the marketing activities of our company over the internet, email and other electronic media, including online promotion, sales and communication.
• Coordinates the marketing activities of all areas of the company that are involved in delivering our project, product or service to our retailer/customer.
• Coordinates the activities of a sales team, controls project/product hand-over, monitors budget achievement, trains and motivates personnel, and prepares forecasts.
• Markets our projects, product or service via various social media platforms. This may involve researching customer behaviour on social media to develop a marketing strategy.
• Involves working with, and gaining the cooperation of, people in specialist areas such as technical experts, operations, accountants and advertising agents.
• Provides sales support by fielding enquiries, taking orders and providing phone advice to retailers/customers. They also assist with exhibitions, prepare documentation for brochures and sales kits, and commission market research.
• The Marketing Officer oversees the company’s marketing campaigns both internally and externally and plays a key part in communicating the organisations marketing message.
Summary:
1. Identify and analyses our strengths and weaknesses, and respond to opportunities and threats in the marketing environment
2. Set goals for market share and growth
3. Develop plans for integrated marketing campaigns, advertising, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling and sales management
4. Decide and implement appropriate strategies by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets and promoting projects, products and services to those markets

6. Determine an approach to pricing and set prices for products and services

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Science or any related discipline.
2. Experience in sales, marketing and administration/coordination would be advantageous.
3. Proficiency in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with retailers/clients efficiently and effectively.
4. Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Mailing System and the Internet.
