The effects of treatments and storage time on taste and visual
appearance of the ‘Red Globe’ grapes were determined by panelists
based on a scale of 1–9 (Tables 1–4). Grapes packaged with SO2
pads in PPE bags maintained acceptable taste and visual appearance
throughout storage. A decrease occurred in the taste of grapes packaged
with SO2 pads in ZOEpac-110 bags after 2 months of storage
due to SO2 residues, but their visual appearance was acceptable for
4 months.
