In contrast, concerning indoor exposure, numerous
studies for assessing occupational exposure of greenhouse
workers have been performed and in a recent study the
exposure of other non-agricultural professionals, for example
gardeners, florists, and veterinary workers, have been
investigated by measurements of pesticides in indoor air
and on hands [13]. They found an air contamination by
pesticides in working areas consistent with the occupational
activity and cutaneous exposure seems to be more
important than respiratory exposure.
