Termination
This employment may be terminated at any time whatsoever by either party giving to the other two (2) weeks' notice in writing or payment of two (2) weeks' basic salary in lieu of such notice.
The Sanderson Group may at its option commute any period of notice of termination by payment in lieu to the Employee of the basic salary which would otherwise be payable for the balance of the notice period. In such circumstance no compensation shall be payable in respect of other entitlements or non-monetary benefits that would have applied or accrued to the Employee had the notice period not been commuted.
The Sanderson Group may terminate the Employee's employment without notice or payment in lieu of notice for serious misconduct, including commission of a criminal offence, or if the Employee is precluded by law from performing the duties of the position or where the Employee has not provided full and accurate disclosure of information given in support of the Employees' application and this is discovered at a later date.
Subject to applicable statutory requirements, the Employee's rights to compensation or benefits from The Sanderson Group relating to the cessation of the Employee's employment are restricted to those expressly set out in this letter.
