Pria is a stay at home mom. That may sound nice, but it's actually a lot of hard work. That's because Pria does chores while she stays at home. Today, Pria has three chores to do. She must vacuum, fold clothes, and dust.
Pria vacuums first. The vacuum is heavy and awkward. Pria wrestles it out of the closet. She gets it in position and unwinds the electrical cord. Then she pushes the button. The vacuum whirs. It sounds like an oversize kitten. Pria pushes the vacuum about the carpet. The vacuum sucks up dirt. And the carpet is left looking clean.
Next, Pria folds clothes. Although it is a chore, folding clothes is not too bad. The clothes come straight out of the dryer. The clothes are warm and soft. The clothes smell fresh. Pria folds them neatly and separates them into piles.
Last, Pria dusts. Dusting is Pria's least favorite chore. Pria uses a damp cloth. She rubs the cloth over the book cases and tables. Most of the dust sticks to the cloth. But some of it swirls into the air. This makes Pria's nose itch.
Being a stay at home mom may sound fun. But it's actually a lot of work! At least Pria is done with her chores.
