independent from the surrounding callus tissues. However,when embryogenic calli were subculture on freshmedium with 2, 4-D (2.0 mg/1-1), a major portion of embryoids dissipated to form callus. The embryoids were
grown into plants by placing them on media supplemented with cytokinin (Kn 2 mg/l).
