1. There must be a track record of sales. Ideally the company has demonstrated a capacity to reach break-even or is at break-even.
2. The company must have a proven management team, one capable of dealing with all the exigencies of a dynamically growing company in a volatile, uncertain environment.
3. The company must be able to prove the likelihood of an exit strategy that will guarantee a minimum annual return of 35 percent ROI, preferably 50-100 percent.
