away to be treated is a key factor. Thus, routes and collection
times should be carefully scheduled, especially in areas
that are not easily accessible. There should be a sufficient
number of waste transfer stations located in suitable places
that will not cause any environmental harm to the society.
Although the most common methods for waste treatment
in developing Asian countries are dumping and landfills
[34], the respondents have recognized that the current
treatment methods and technologies are unsustainable and
should be concentrated more on new technologies, especially
waste to energy ones.
