The UK
Children go to school from Monday to Friday.
They start school at the age of four or five and they leave at 16 or 18.
When they are 11, they go to a secondary school.
Lessons start at about 9 am and finish at about 3.30 pm.
Pupils eat lunch in the canteen or take wheir own "packed lunch".
When school finishes, some children go to clubs, for example, music or computer clubs.

Children begin school at the age of five.
At the age of 11, they go to a High School for six years.
Some students go to a special type of high school, for example, Agricultural High School and Sport High Schools.
Australia is a very big country so, in some areas, there aren't any schools and pupils study at home.
The "School of the Air" started in alice Springs, in the desert.
Pupils listen to their lessons on the radio, and today they use computers and emails too.
The USA
Children start elementary school at six.
When they are 12, they go to a Junior High School.
At 15, pupils change to a senior High School where they can choose what they want to study.
They usually stay there for three years.
At the end of their final year, they have a big party.
It's called "the senior prom".
