3D printed optical elements currently have some limitations.
These include issues of light transmission, surface finishing,
clarity, and hollow area fabrication. We describe each of
these limitations in the Discussion section. We now introduce four categories of fabrication techniques that demonstrate the wide range of uses for Printed Optics.
