Films obtained from 5 wt% cassava and tree cassava starch dispersions plasticized with glycerol were
translucent (Fig. 1). The thickness of the films ranged from (193.8 ± 15.0) μm to (210.0 ± 14.9) μm for
cassava starch based films and from (177.4 ± 12.6) μm to (192.9 ± 13.7) μm for tree cassava starch based films. These thickness differences is may be due to the fact that the film-forming solution was spread
manually in the mould.
