Eleven people were injured when a Thai Airways plane flying from Japan to Bangkok hit turbulence before landing safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport on February 26.
The Airbus A340-600, carrying 227 passengers,two pilots and 22 crew members,took off from Narita International Airport at 10:36 am in Japan. The aircraft,Flight TG 641, hit bad weather while flying, causing injuries to passen-gers and crew,Thai Airways International president Charamporn Jotikasthira said.
The plane landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 3:51 pm, and the injured were taken to a hospital, Charamporn said.
