When comparing the average score of the 19 hormonal
treatment symptoms included in the FACT-ES with
the QOL scores in the four areas (physical, social and family, emotional, and functional well-being) and
general QOL scores, a weak-to-moderate statistically
significant correlation was found (r = 0.25–0.52 ,
p < 0.001–0.004).
