From our list of favourites, try their delicious Gaeng Luang: a yellow and pungent curry with fish and young coconut shoots. The curry's texture is not as thick as any curry you might have tried and goes well with rice. This version is also more sour and more delicate than the Phuket version that can really be out of reach for a non Thai. Khua Kling (120 - 150 Baht) - super spicy young pork ribs fried in spicy paste is also a must try, and the origin of the restaurant's name. Phad Satow (180 Baht) is another recommended dish but this pungent 'stinky beans' fried with shrimp paste is only for the bravest and a bit out of our league. Instead, we picked a non spicy dish to cool down: Bai Liang Pat Kai - delicious fried leaves with egg.
