Rice was milled and passed through an 80-mesh sieve and then
blended with MS in proportion of 100:0 (designated as R100:M0),
98:2 (as R98:M2), 95:5 (as R95:M5) and 92:8 (as R92:M8). Finally,
the prepared samples were packed, sealed in polyethylene bags and
kept at 4 C for use.
