With the optimized growth conditions (pH 6, 200 rpm, 25 °C, 25 g/L TSC), SmF was also
tested for the probable effects of the precultured inoculum size (% v/v) on FA production and
morphology of R. oryzae 1526. Although most of the SmFs involving filamentous fungus
apply 10 % (v/v) of preculture for inoculating the production medium, variation in inoculum
size can generate important information on the change in FA production and morphology of
R. oryzae.
