As the successful candidate you should hold an advanced degree in Geophysics or related subject (Physics or Mathematics).
Programming knowledge (C/F77) on a modern computing environment (Linux).
Industry experience in research or processing of seismic data is desirable, but not a must.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must of publication record including at least one journal paper and one presentation at an international conference.
Should have a good grasp of conventional pre- and post-stack migration methodologies in both time and depth domains, with particular emphasis on pre-stack depth imaging using RTM and wave equation techniques.
