Depending on the temperature, the reaction time and place where the air is added, the H2S
concentration can be reduced by 95% to less than 50 ppm. However, care should be taken
to avoid overdosing of air, as biogas in air is explosive in the range of 6–12%, depending
on the methane content [9].
