The infestation of C. bullita was observed from June, after the first rainfall which continued until December, but the residual population was noticed up to the month of April. Some residual population was also found throughout the year and in adverse climatic conditions adults were found hibernating in plant debris. When the first rainfall occurred they became active and started egg laying.
