High-Temperature Short-Time pasteurizer , it was considered
that: i) it was intended forHuman milk bank, and thus consistency with guideline
requirements was mandatory; ii) the dairy industry High-Temperature Short-Time standards
(72 °C holding temperature for 15 s holding time) had to be fulfilled;
iii) temperature control had to be ensured by means of adequate
probes; iv) a comparison with the Holder pasteurization process had to be made using
the Human milk bank implemented device.
